The Black Chip is delighted to announce its participation in the inaugural edition of 7 Rue Froissart, a new art fair in Paris running from 19–25 October 2025.

Coinciding with Art Basel Paris and situated in the heart of Paris' gallery district, 7 rue Froissart is envisioned as an alternative to the traditional art fair model, organised and supported equally by the participating galleries and curators. Through a spirit of transparency and equity, the event unites participants in collaboration that benefits both artists and galleries.

For its debut presentation in Paris, The Black Chip will showcase works by five Irish artists: Serena Caulfield, Sophie Gough, Paul Hallahan, and Colm Mac Athlaoich, as well as Sarah Dwyer (in-association with Brigitte Mulholland)

Together, these artists offer a multifaceted view of Irish contemporary painting and sculpture, exploring the intersections of figuration, abstraction, history, and material experimentation.

Alongside the black chip, there will be galleries from Berlin, London, Los Angeles, New York and Paris including Brigitte Mulholland, Chilli | Harlesden High Street, DIMIN, HESSE FLATOW, Marinaro,| Gattopardo, Mrs., SCHWARZ CONTEMPORARY, and Slip House
